What is AccessAbility4All? It is an entity focused on improving accessibility for people of all abilities in every aspect of life. Accessibility is sometimes defined as simply being able to get in or out of a physical building, but it is more than that. Accessibility is access to anything at anytime anywhere a person may be.

I have a profound hearing loss, which requires me to use hearing aids to help me hear. Even though I do have hearing aids, I still lack access to much of what others have access to. Most hearing aids simply amplify sound, which means the hearing aids will amplify all sound within reach of the microphone. As a result, all the amplified sound is sent to my ears and my brain is busy trying to decide which sound I want to really hear. By the time the correct sound gets to my ears, the conversation is onto a different topic and I am completely loss. This creates a huge problem in most settings requiring dialogue between myself and others. One example is a church setting. I only get about 50% of what people are saying in the pulpit or on the stage. Even if every person uses a microphone, I am still only going to understand about half of what is being said. Sound travels and the further it must go, then the less effective the sound is when received. Not only am I hearing a diminished sound, but also other noises, such as coughing and ruffling papers. Therefore, my accessibility is impacted.

Accessibility for other disabilities are compromised in other ways. AccessAbility4All exists to remove barriers preventing people with disabilities from thriving in life. There is no reason for anyone not to be able to choose and enjoy the lives of their choosing.

I look forward to living in a world where people of all abilities may appreciate all aspects of life. AccessAbility4All is committed to making this a reality. Join me in this commitment by signing up to be among the first people to use the AbilityApp. This app is going to be a key which will open many doors for the special needs communities, their families, loved ones, and friends.
